The Bloophone wireless VoIP solution is composed by a wireless Bluetooth handset, a USB/Bluetooth dongle and a HandsetManager software running on a PC. That product allows users to simply make and receive phone calls using their PC with their internet connection and their favourite VoIP service provider (Skype,…).

This Bluetooth cordless phone features advanced functionalities has a colour display, polyphonic melodies, caller ID, hands free, and also real time contact status using Skype.

Skype is a program that makes it possible to call for free over the Internet. After you and your friends or family have installed the program, you can simply make a call by selecting a name in the program. The other party’s line will ‘ring’ and as soon as they answer, you can talk – often with better quality than standard telephony.

With a unique Bluetooth radio link which allows voice communication and data transfer, the main benefit of this phone is the capacity to exchange data and voice with the PC for Skype functions (using a USB Bluetooth dongle if PC is not Bluetooth equipped already)

Dialling via Internet: Skype to other Skype users (the display shows whether your friends who also use Skype are online. If they are, you simply have to press the green button and talk to them for free– no matter where they are in the world)

Dialling via SkypeOut to standard telephone numbers

Using SkypeIn – enables reception of calls from standard telephone numbers (PSTN)
